The Full Frame
That's a funny accent you've got there!
Well, that's because I'm not actually a local. I do try my hardest to blend in while being a contributing member of my community since 2008, but sometimes I can't help but show my northern habits (like putting cheese on pretty much every dinner item).
I spent my entire youth in Wisconsin. We had the sun in the summer, the snow in the winter, and just about every comfort food you can imagine. I've been to Summerfest and slapped hands with the lead singer of Train, then ran to the next stage to hear Shinedown sing my favorite song. I still love going back to visit family and friends when I can. In 2008 I said "See you soon!" to Wisconsin and moved to Gainesville. In 2013, I completed my Bachelors degree in Animal Biology from the University of Florida, because I had every intention of pursuing a long term career in Veterinary Medicine (I still love it to this day and miss certain aspects of the field).
All those fun memories and dreams pale in comparison to the amazing days I now enjoy. I stumbled upon the love of my life a year after I graduated. Ask me when we meet about how he rode in like a prince on a white horse! Fast forward a few years, and we now have two beautiful children, which you need only ask, and I'll herald you with their latest troublemaking. They must take after their mama!
